Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data VibeCodePicks (“we”, “us”), operated by Wang Haoran, individual sole proprietor, China, collects when you use vibecodepicks.com, our MCP server and API. Questions: suanrongbaicai@gmail.com.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand aggregate traffic (pages viewed, referrers, country, device type) and page performance. These tools are cookieless and do not track you across sites; data is aggregated and not used to identify individual visitors. Our site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard server logs (such as IP addresses) to deliver and secure the service.
Accounts and newsletter
We do not offer user accounts (the optional MCP feed uses an anonymous random key, see below). If you join the newsletter waitlist, we store your email address (and the time you signed up) in Upstash Redis only to send the VibeCodePicks newsletter. We do not sell it or use it for other marketing. To unsubscribe or delete your address, email suanrongbaicai@gmail.com. If you email us for any other reason, we keep the correspondence only as long as needed to respond and keep business records.
Tool submissions
Submissions and correction requests are made through public GitHub issues. Anything you post there is public and governed by GitHub's privacy statement.
Payments
We currently sell no paid services and do not process payments.
MCP server and API
Our MCP server (/api/mcp), JSON API and llms.txt files require no sign-in and are anonymous. We do not ask for or store personal data through them; standard hosting logs may apply. Please do not send personal information in queries.
We keep anonymous daily usage counters (which tool was called and the client app name, e.g. “claude-ai”, per day; deleted after ~120 days). No IP addresses, query text or chat content are stored.
Optional daily feed (MCP)
The feed is opt-in. If your AI calls subscribe, we create a random key (no name or email). We store under that key only: project names and interest tags you save, ids of items already shown to you (so nothing repeats), and tool ids you mark as picked/rejected/tried. No chat content, no IP. Data is stored with Upstash (Redis) and expires after about 13 months of inactivity. These preferences are used only for the feed and never change search, recommendation or comparison results. Call forget_me with your key, or email us, to delete everything immediately.
VibeCodePicks 推送需主动开启。我们只保存一个随机密钥、你保存的项目名和兴趣标签、已推送过的条目 ID，以及你标记为选用/放弃的工具 ID——不保存姓名、聊天内容或 IP。调用 forget_me 或发邮件到 suanrongbaicai@gmail.com 即可立即删除全部数据。
Third-party links and videos
We link to vendor websites and show excerpts of official vendor videos. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
Your rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you by emailing suanrongbaicai@gmail.com. We do not sell personal data.
